What Do Artists Do All Day?

The first thing we learnt today in the studio was never to trust the colour a spray paint says it is... We were testing them out for our Points of View project.
Then we had a lovely little outing to the park, to collect mud (what else!?)
In the life of an artist experimentation is key. You might spend five weeks trying to get something to work and just as you’re about to give up…
Something we’ve been attempting in the studio recently is to recreate the patterns made after the water is drained from a muddy bath (hence collecting mud).
This was our first attempt:
